Atlantic Grille Heats up with Summer Prix Fixe Menu

The Atlantic Grille is heating up for summer, providing the recipe for a perfect evening out on the Avenue! Enjoy a three-course dinner for two, plus a bottle of wine from our seasonally inspired prix fixe menu for $33 per person. For a limited time, experience the sophistication, freshness, and creativity that the Atlantic Grille offers, with an even more attractive price. The summer promotion will be available Sunday through Thursday, from now until September 30, 2013. Guests can choose from a special three-course selection that will change monthly, as Chef Adam Gottlieb showcases some of his specialty dishes.

Second Annual “Splash into Spring” Fashion Show with Saks Fifth Avenue-Boca Raton at The Seagate Beach Club

On Tuesday, April 9, The Seagate’s private Beach Club hosted an evening of cutting-edge fashion, featuring the season’s hottest trends from your favorite designers. This stylish event featured signature cocktails by SVEDKA Vodka, including their new Orange Cream Pop and Strawberry Colada flavors, Clos du Bois wine, passed hors d’oeuvres, and an exclusive fashion show by Saks Fifth Avenue-Boca Raton. Guests savored, sipped, and shopped the latest accessories from Saks and the newest color collection by CHANEL Beauty.

For the event, The Seagate’s engineering team designed and constructed a bridge to serve as a runway over the width of the pool, where the models flaunted their fashion. Attendees were seated for the formal show following the cocktail reception on the terrace, as The Seagate Spa and Saks provided beauty giveaways placed sporadically under the chairs of ten lucky guests. The threat of rain was evident during the event, but held off until the very end—the final catwalk included the special effects of a refreshing drizzle.

Sweets with Saks were served on the Beach Club veranda as guests browsed through Saks’ hanging racks for the pieces that had just been showcased on the runway. Spring fashion was the highlight of the evening as Saks VIPs mingled with Seagate members and friends. The Seagate Hotel & Spa values its community partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton and looks forward to hosting more unique engagements for both its loyal clientele and new visitors.

A professional marine aquarist, Bryan’s extensive import and export knowledge of tropical marine fish and their simulated habitats qualifies him as the project manager for all five of The Seagate’s award-winning aquariums. Seagate Spa’s Third Annual Elemis Luncheon Was a Big Success

The Seagate Spa hosted its Third Annual Elemis Luncheon on Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the Coral Ballroom, where guests were educated on the latest anti-aging skincare and beauty treatments. The estheticians from Elemis presented clinical studies that covered the most effective ways to improve fine lines and reduce wrinkles. A complimentary lunch was served during the presentation, featuring a seasonal salad with grilled chicken breast, followed by fresh fruit and berries. Refreshing mimosas, champagne, and wines were also served during the afternoon gathering.

Spring has sprung at The Seagate Hotel & Spa! Spend your Easter Sunday with us for a memorable holiday, and enjoy the Atlantic Grille’s festive fare created with the season’s celebration in mind. Feast with family and friends in our warm, welcoming restaurant or dine alfresco and take in the scene on lively Atlantic Avenue.

On March 31, a special menu will be available, in addition to our usual brunch offering from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and our regular dinner menu from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The featured appetizer will be our seasonal Strawberry, Spinach and Toasted-Almond Salad with Poppyseed Dressing ($12). For the entrée, guests may choose from Glazed Ham with Peach and Ginger, Honey-Glazed Carrots, Roasted Asparagus, and Scalloped Potatoes ($26) or Herb-Roasted Lamb Loin with Pea Purée, Sunburst Squash, and a White-Bean Ragout ($29). The sweet ending to our traditional Easter meal will be a light Lemon Pudding Cake complemented by a refreshing Blueberry Semi-Freddo ($9).

Hotel guests are welcome to stop by the Beach Club during the morning, where kids can participate in the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. on the beach and pool deck areas, with a special guest appearance from The Easter Bunny!

Delray Beach International Tennis Championships

Delray Beach hosts the world’s only combined ATP World Tour/ATP Champions Tour event at The Delray Beach Tennis Center. The city is looking forward to welcoming back top-ranked American, John Isner; previous ITC Champions, Mardy Fish, the Bryan Brothers, Tommy Haas, Xavier Malisse, Kevin Anderson, and Kei Nishikori; and first-time “Beachers” Gael Monfils, Alexandr Dolgopolov, and Feliciano Lopez.

The ATP Champions Tour brings together many of the greatest tennis players in history for nostalgic, competitive, and entertaining tournaments in cities around the world. John McEnroe is returning to Delray Beach to play in the newly formatted ATP Champions Tour event featuring six stars playing a round-robin event over three days. The iconic McEnroe will be joined by Mats Wilander, Pat Cash, Carlos Moya, Mark Philippoussis, and Aaron Krickstein in the “legends” field at the 2013 Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC) held February 22 – March 3.
