With the local floral design and décor team at Daniel Events, partnered with the exceptional experience of talented wedding planner, Joni Scalzo (Your Special Day by Joni), the charm of the oceanfront Seagate Beach Club was enhanced with champagne-gold linens, ivory hydrangeas, and pops of pink roses.
Not to be outdone, our bride was a true vision in a Jenny Lee ivory gown (from the wonderful team at Boca Bridal), accented with a dramatically long, flowing veil—making for stunning photographs, with South Florida’s turquoise Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.

Taking full advantage of all The Seagate Hotel & Spa has to offer as a spectacular setting, Briah and Kevin did a series of private portraits prior to the ceremony on the sand, in the meticulously designed Chris Leighton lobby and signature Atlantic Grille restaurant.
Highlighted photographs include several taken in front of the hotel’s award-winning aquariums. With the latest addition to these magnificent marine masterpieces being a 20-foot-long shark tank prominently displayed in the dining room of the Atlantic Grille restaurant, our bride and groom embodied romance in a serene, ocean-inspired setting.
Briah and Kevin’s attention to every detail shone, as they worked with The Seagate Hotel & Spa to offer sumptuous samplings of passed hors d’oeuvre, including Medallions of Lobster with Caviar and Crème Fraiche, Frenched Lamb, and Baked Brie en Croute with Raspberry Preserves. Each canapé, delicately prepared by the Seagate Beach Club’s chef de cuisine, Chris Schaefer, tantalized guests before the indulgent entrées: Filet Mignon, served with Gorgonzola Potato Gratin and a Red Wine Reduction, and a Maine Lobster Tail in a Lemon-Caper Butter Sauce. Astounded attendees and rave reviews segued into the finale—a flawless tiered wedding cake created by local South Florida pastry artists at Sugar Chef.
With the intention of creating a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime event, Briah and Kevin took this as no small task. Working with local South Florida talents and selecting an ideal oceanfront venue at the Seagate Beach Club, they succeeded in creating an unforgettable evening—as our bride, Briah, exclaims, “The Seagate did such an amazing job [with] making our wedding weekend the most special [and] magical weekend ever.”
